The mouthpiece should always be cleaned with suitable agents so as not to damage the galvanic surface. A mouthpiece cleaner, warm water along with a brush and a drying cloth are the best care products.
Modular parts with screw threads should always be lubricated.

Is it possible to refurbish my old mouthpiece?
Yes. Refurbishing old and heavily used mouthpieces is important and correct, depending on the condition. A dirty or damaged surface can lead to skin irritation or cold sores.
How often do I have to refurbish my mouthpiece?
This depends on how carefully you treat your mouthpiece and what visual condition you are aiming for. However, a used, refurbished mouthpiece will NEVER reach the condition of a new part.
How much does MP refurbishment cost?
Depending on the initial condition and the desired surface variant, refurbishments are usually between €20 and €60.
What costs should I expect for re-gilding?
Re-gilding starts at €23 and can cost up to €100, as the base layer must be freshly polished and pre-silvered to create a flawless gold plating.
How do I get an MP refurbishment?
Send your request via email to office@breslmair.at or contact us by phone. After receipt of your goods, the refurbishment will begin immediately.
How long does an MP refurbishment take?
A refurbishment is usually completed within one working day. The return shipment takes place as soon as possible and usually on the following working day.
