Breslmair mouthpieces

Probably the best-known mouthpiece models that come from our workshop are those of the G trumpet series, which became a standard in Viennese orchestras. Many top musicians influenced the shape of these mouthpieces until models such as G1, G2, etc. finally received their typical facon. Inevitably, one has to ask oneself a question:

Can a mouthpiece still be improved?

There are no good or bad mouthpieces - only suitable or unsuitable ones. Apart from cheap products, which in most cases are intended to complement a newly purchased instrument, most mouthpieces are designed together with competent musicians who try to realise their concrete sound ideas with them. The decisive factor, however, is how precisely these designs can be realised and produced to a certain standard over the years.

Just as every country has its own language and every region its own peculiarities, which are reflected in the type of people, so too do instruments and mouthpieces have those characteristics that do justice to their mentality.

The musician should be able to choose a mouthpiece that offers him the greatest possible flexibility in obtaining his timbre, style and comfort. With our multi-piece mouthpieces, we have made a great contribution to this.
